Anglo American is offering Learnerships for the academic year 2017 / 2018 in Kumba Iron Ore, Thabazimbi Mine.

Learnership Provider : Anglo American

Thabazimbi Mine is offering a Learnership programme in the following disciplines. Preference will be given to applicants who reside in the Thabazimbi Local Municipality.

Mining (3)
Safety (1)
Game Farm (1)

Students who have completed their studies but who are still unemployed will be allowed to do their Learnership at any time during the year but for a maximum of 12 months.

Requirements

Applicants for the Mining and Game Farm positions should have completed their Gr12 Senior Certificate.
Applicants for the Safety position should have completed at least one (1) year tertiary qualification in the relevant discipline.
A valid Driver’s license (Code 8 or EB) will be to the candidate’s advantage.
Applications will have to undergo a medical Fitness and be declared medically fit for the position

Additional Information

It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that certified copies of proof of residence, qualifications, drivers licences, registration (if studies has not been completed) and a letter from the institution requesting practical work experience.
